The Western Red Cedar (WRC) siding option looks beautiful on any home. 

A customer has two choices with the WRC siding option. 

1. The "standard WRC": it is installed at the factory over the exterior grade 1/2" CDX plywood with 15 lb. felt in between.  This choice requires a bellyband to cover the first and/or second floor system.  

-OR-

2. The "Drop-down WRC": the siding is shipped loose and cut to length ON-SITE, to cover the floor system without using a bellyband.  This choice is called the "Drop-down WRC" option, because the siding 'drops-down' below the wall panel to cover the floor system, thus eliminating the need for a bellyband.  A vapor barrier (felt or Tyvek® is not included with the Drop-down WRC choice. 

Any home ordered with the WRC option includes matching uncut cedar facia and soffit trim to be cut/installed on site.  Homes ordered with the WRC and window and door package option also include cedar window trim INSTALLED at the factory and uncut door trim to be installed on site.
